Interlunar first started as a dream inspired by Japanese band medias Bocchi the Rock!, K-On!, Bandori!, and Girls Band Cry. Our name combines the words "interlude" and "lunar" to create a moon and night sky band aesthetic, with our songs focused on what it means to live, love, be lonely, be lost, or belong.

During our short time as college students, we want to leave our mark through NJIT SOMA open mic events or other NJIT student organization events on campus. We want to make meaningful memories that we can look back on, even after we graduate college.

We're here to make ourselves seen and heard by sharing our love for music with each other and our audiences. Aside from our rehearsals, we enjoy band bonding on campus or in New York City to live out our anime band dream!
